Hello my name is Mindy. I have just joined MFP. A good friend of mine suggested that I check out this site. I am wanting to lose weight the right way not with diet pills or starvation. If anyone has suggestions be it on exercise, nutrition, or what not please let me know! I am doing this for myself and my family. My husband is set to deploy this year so Im trying to lose the majority of the weight before he leaves and when he comes back it will be like hes coming home to a different wife!

    hi and welcome,
    just post all your food wether it's a good choice or not. Get enough friends to keep you encouraged but not so many that you can't actually keep up with every body. Be a blessing to them by being as good a supporter and you want them to be for you. Most importantly remember that with God all things are possible. I try and watch fat content of foods where others may be watching carbs. It will seem impossible at first but you get use to it and if you make good food choices you'll eat more often than you may have been but still losing weight.
