im confused iv bought a packet of noodles from lidl earlier this afternoon on the nutrition values it says 141 cals per 100g cooked this packet is 108g then right beside it say 287 calories per 1/2 packed cooked half of the 108g which one is it???? obviously if i were to go for the 100g cooked i would have to alter it to because its 108g not 100g. sooooo confused......

Maybe the 100g dry weighs more than 100g when it's cooked, I'd go fo the half a pack option

The 100g pack weight is the dry weight of the noodles. Once cooked they will weigh more because they will absorb water, which is what the 1/2 pack calories relates too.
It does sound confusing.0 -

if it is just water they are absorbing why would it have more calories when water doesnt have calories? lol0 -
Remember that most of the stuff put in for calories are really just guesses anyway. But I like the comment about the apple. (Even if it would be tough for me to do lol)0
