Just joined yesterday

Hello!
My name is Jade and I just joined this site yesterday with my fiance and our best friend. I am 24 years old, the youngest out of the three of us and kicking the boys butt, along with my own, to get back in shape. We live in FL and this year it got pretty cold so we didnt want to go outside and do anything for fear of freezing to death lol. Well, as most of you can imagine, that had its consiquences. I had the three of us join a gym together and we go every night for 2 hours but it wasnt enough. So, when I found this site you can imagine how happy I was lol.
Now, with the help from the site I can get back to my ideal weight. I am also looking for friends in the Jacksonville Florida area, but also from other places. I find that during the day I sometimes want to go for a walk or something but have no one to go with and would love to find someone near me.
My goal is to lose 55 lbs, but as I told someone yesterday, as long as I feel healthy at a lower weight, I'll stay there even if its not my target number. I just want to feel great again, not fit into a size 2 lol.

yes, this site does seem pretty awesome! But I am a little confusd on one thing. When I worked out yesterday and I plugged in my workout and the calories burned, it said I gained those calories to what I can eat for the remainder of the day. Doesnt that seem a little counter productive if I am just eating back the calories that I worked 2 hours to get rid of?0

In response to your calories allowed and calories deficit question... if you're eating 1,200 calories a day, like I am for example, it's already a 500 calorie deficit for me to lose 1lb a week, workout or not. If you workout, those are bonus calories you do get to eat and technically should eat as healthy intake a day is 1,200 and lower is starvation. I'm not gonna lie, I don't always eat back my exercise cals but you're technically supposed to.
I say if you're hungry eat, if you're not then you're not, I'd take it on a case by case basis and listen to your body.0
