I had to force myself to eat some dinner last night, and then this morning I couldnt even finish my small breakfast. Im not hungry at all, is this normal? Do you guys eat all your calories even when its a struggle or do i go without hitting my minimum? I really dont want to go into starvation mode and stall out my weight loss. blah!

There are days when I wish I had this problem!
I wouldn't force yourself to eat if you aren't hungry; however, you don't want to eat too few calories for extended periods either. If you continue to have a reduced appetite you might try eating a snack of something higher in calories to make sure your intake isn't too low. Nuts, peanut butter, etc are good snacks that give you some calories but also have health benefits (good fats, proteins) when eaten in moderation. Good luck!0 -
I always meet the minimun calories that I need, even if it means eating a few apples or fat free ice cream. Usually I'm hungry around meal times but some days I get so busy I don't snack. On those days I'll have frozen yogurt or ice cream.

I go through this on weekends when my kids are with thier sperm donor. I'll not be hungry and not eat all day and then when my boyfriend comes we'll have a bad dinner (the other week it was cheesesteaks and beer-dipped onion rings, OMG yummy!). When I am making food for the kids its easy to eat with them. So maybe I just need to find a few snacks for the weekends when they're not home.0

You'll find early in the weight loss process you will not want to eat a lot (meaning the calories you allow for yourself), don't force yourself to eat when you do not want to. Later on, as you continue to lose and exercise you will want more, some days more than others. This is normal, no one eats the exact same amount of calories each day...on the days you want more, eat more, on the days you feel like eating less, eat less. I have found that a weekly budget works best for me. Example: I have a budget of 9100 calories for the week and 14000 mg sodium for the week. Sunday (Super Bowl) I ate about 1800 calories and 3200mg sodium total. I have time to make it up during the week, plus the day (s) I usually want/eat more 2/3 other days I naturally desire less.0
