Inputting Exercises

Hello there,

I was wondering about this feature from MyFitnessPal:
I've put in my profile that I'll exercise 7 times a week, 18 minutes. Is this then calculated in my "Net Calorie Goal" Or do I have to add it each day to my diary?

Kind regards,

Barrie

  • You have to log all your additional exercise that you do in a day. Make sure you have input your lifestyle--sedentary, active, very active....
  • So, only the additional exercises? Not the time that I already in-putted?

The 7 days a week 18 mins a day that you initially inputted was your goal -- not your accomplishment. You have to actually enter each day's exercise. If you biked for 18 mins, you put it in. If you walked (or ran) on the treadmill for 18 mins, you have to enter it, etc . Each type of exercise and duration must be manually entered. You can have a goal to exercise 18 mins per day, every day, but that doesn't mean you actually did it. When you do it, THEN you enter it.
  • I see Aflane. Thanks! That helped me so much :)
