Turkey Tacos! ~ 400 calories

This is a great dinner that anyone who loves taco will enjoy!
Serves 4
1 pound lean ground turkey
1 package small corn tortillas (they have less cal then flour)
1 package taco seasoning (seasoning also has some calories )
1/2 cup chopped bell pepper
1/2 cup chopped onion
Salsa
Fat Free / light sour cream
Brown the turkey in a skillet.
Once its mostly brown, add the veggies to saute.
Drain Fat from meat
Add taco seasoning with a little water to mix
Top tortillas with taco meat.
Add salsa and sour cream if desired.
One serving is 2 taco shells, 4 oz of meat, 2 tbsp salsa and 2 tbsp sour cream. 393 Calories!

I wanted to like them but I just cant eat the ground turkey..But i dont like meat anyway i just like tacos once in a while...0

The killer is the sodium in the taco seasoning packet....but its worth the yummy taste!

I make my own taco seasoning too. Very simple and less fat, sodium and preservatives then pre made store bought.
equal parts of- depends on how spicy you want it
oregano (Mexican oregano works better and is cheaper)
cumin
paprika
chili powder
2 tbs crushed garlic
sea salt to taste.

Sounds good... can be even better
Use a whole wheat tortillas instead of corn tortillas
Use plain greek yogurt in place of sourcream
