Is it that far off??

I just did some cardio on the Wii EA Active and it said I burned 250 calories. I wore my heart-rate monitor while I did it, and it said I burned 521 calories in the 41 minutes that I was working out. I stopped it in between each 'session' so that I wasn't getting calories burned for just standing around even though I kept moving.
Could the EA Sports be that far off? Or is the HRM totally off?

yeah, i never take machines or game to the truth. they all base calories burned on the average person, usually 140lbs. So some people burn more than what they say and some burn less. Go with the monitor since it measures you directly0
