Is there any benefit to doing either a dry or wet sauna?
Please only reply if you are certain of the benefits. I want to make sure this is healthy and what it achieves for me physically.
Thanks!

Saunas aid in muscle recovery and in relieving toxins from the body. It is not however, a weight loss tool. If you use them, you should go in no more than 15-20 minutes, and drink several cups of water before and after to make sure you don't get dehydrated.
They are especially good to use to deal with muscle soreness from working out.0 -
Thanks, that is what I had basically deduced from what I have read. There is a lot of crap out there talking about other health benefits, but in my scientific mind I couldn't put my head around it.0

They're also really really nice! (that's a benefit as far as I'm concerned!)
I miss my old gym purely for the steam-room.0 -
