Day 2:)

Today is my 2nd day with mfp. I am enjoying all the support and love everyone offers one another...I hope I get the same:) My biggest problem is the "couch." When I get home from work I sit in my couch and watch TV while snacking on any and everything I put my hands on. I want to change and I need your help!!

    Sounds like you have enough time on your hands to hit the gym or throw in an exercise video.

    ALso, you will have enough time after that to pick up on a hobby----the last thing you want to do is hit the couch and watch that TV and eat. You have to make healthy lifestyle changes,and that not only means changing what you eat, but changing your lifestyle as well.
  • Thank you for your reply and congrats on your weight lose. I am prepare to make some changes. When I get home today I am going to hit the road and burn some cal. You are right it's a lifestyle change... one day at a time:)

    I'm the same way so I started packing my gym bag and leaving it in my car. That way, as soon as I got into my car I had no excuse but to go to the gym. I'm not perfect but it definitely helps me get my exercise in. I'm also single with no children so it's easy for me to do that. I can imagine that my suggestion would be a little a harder for people with families.
  • I have no gym membership right now...I am looking for one. My job has one, but once I am done with work all I want to do is go home. I have to find a routine that will work for me. Usually when the weather is nice, I like to run outside...but it has been so darn cold lately:(
