Hey Everyone~

I am a few days into week 2 I feel I am doing great with the eating and I was perfect about exercising last week. I went to a few appointments with my husband yesterday so I didn't get to exercise and I haven't wanted to this week at all. I have a 10 1/2 month old who is just about losing her damn mind, not wanting to eat, cranky all the time, she wakes up once at night which to most people it wouldn't be an issue but my husband is a police officer and he works nights so I don't sleep well anyways, and then she wakes up at 6:30 when my husband gets home. I am getting a weekly B-12 shot but my energy level is suffering. Any advice? Would be great I need to lose the weight but I need to lose the inches more. My daughter was a very big baby that did a lot of damage to the skin in my mid section including a c-section.

I find it really hard to exercise too, because my son wakes up at 5:30 with his daddy. :grumble: :grumble:

And honestly, I don't always exercise. If I'm too tired, I don't do it. If I feel like maybe I should push myself to exercise, I do. But I never force it if I just plain don't want to. Just remember, you don't want to do this really really fast. You want to have reasonable goals, lose weight gradually, and keep it off for good. I had that problem in the beginning. I was so into losing weight right NOW that I wasn't leaving myself any reasonable leeway for this to become a lifestyle. Now I exercise 4 days a week, and walk to the grocery store or anywhere else reasonable. I clean a lot more (not that the house was a pigsty before, but now I scrub the sink and the toilet and the bathtub twice a week, it used to be once a month), I park farther away from Wal-Mart. It's little things like that that really add up and (at least for me) make this lifestyle change do-able. I'm not a girl that LOVES exercise, and it's unreasonable for me to assume that I can become a fitness guru in a matter of months. I'm working my way up gradually. I think you'll do great, and with only 23 lbs to lose for this goal period, I think you'll hit it faster than you think. Don't beat yourself up, we're here for you.

BTW: Your daughter is SO CUTE!!!!!!!

Thank You! Everyone I know that has children around the same age they all sleep through the night. I am not working anymore out of the home but we own our own business and it is really picking up. With my husband working night I am having to take charge while he is sleeping. Plus take care of the house, My sister and her family just stayed with us for the past 8 months and just left last month so I am still trying to get the house back to normal from that and my in-laws are moving from out of state and they will be staying with for about a month until they find a house so I am trying to get ready for them. I don't have any babysitters and I can't afford daycare, so I feel like super mommy, wife, housekeeper, gardner, and boss and I still manage to get dinner on the table by 530 every night. My husband is 100% the best but with working full time and having a business to run I don't get his help as much.

Oh gosh!!! You're a busy busy bee!!! Well hopefully once your in-laws move closer they can help you get a little more "Mommy time" (that's what my husband calls it when he gets home from work and I run off to do things I need to do for myself, like, I don't know, take a shower!) I think your life sounds incredibly hectic and I don't know how I could handle it. I would be super b*tch.

LokiFae~ How I manage it all I really don't know. I have to say I know their are alot of people out their who have crazier lifes then I do. This morning I had to drop everything to go get some of my husbands x-rays and get them back in time for an appt. this afternoon, I was in the middle of exercising.... So bumbed because I was getting into it, but thats life. Any way needless to say I was gone from 1030 and I just walked in the door. I was up by my parents house and since they don't get to see their granddaughter as much as we'd like we went to lunch and did a little shopping. I feel great about lunch it was my 1st time eating out we to a salad bar I ate a large salad with little low fat dressing and a half a small baked potato. After reading my own blogs I think I need a reality show!

The Real life of a Housewife. hehehehehehe Ok now its time so work!
