need suggestions....ruined my entire day

Today for lunch I had a salad with a little tuna for some protein. However, shortly after, I went kind of crazy and ate some chocolate chips mixed with peanuts. The total calories were over 500, which kind of ruined the rest of my day. I have to work until 8 p.m., (here it is already 4:30 p.m.) then make dinner for the family, then get my daughter to bed. I don’t really have time to squeeze in a lot of exercise…at least not enough to burn that off. Any suggestions?

Do jumping jacks behind the counter.

Or just write it off as an "Oops", remember the taste of those yummy chocolate chips and peanuts (why don't we have a drooling smiley? If we did, it would go here.), have a light dinner, and exercise tomorrow.

Well, the sun came out, so I think I can actually squeeze in a bike ride or walk with my daughter before dinner (although I hate eating after 9 p.m.).....but maybe the day has been saved....somewhat!
  • Whoa, quite a load you've got there on your plate. It seems like it might be rough to fit in a treadmill or running spot in your schedule today.

What about yoga? Once your daughter is put to bed, try some yoga and get your mind centered and balance your body with the exercise involved. Most sessions usually aren't horribly long and when my girlfriend does her night session before bed, she's out like a light.

If anything, I'd say you eat lightly and go to bed as early as possible. Maybe you can rebound in the early morning with a workout session to fill you with energy for the day and jumpstart your metabolism. Hopefully, all goes well for you.
