I am in need of some date ideas.
It's about -10 here right now, so indoors would be a plus.
And it's only date two - so home visits aren't included yet...
Any ideas?

I know some of these sound old school or childish but there is not much else to do in the winter besides these things (not sure if you have all of these options near you though): go out to eat, movie/imax, ice skating, bowling, snow tubing, aquarium, comedy club, sledding hehe, indoor rock climbing, casino, indoor mini golf, indoor water park, laser tag, indoor go karting...

Oooohhh... I love like a "Dave and Busters" sort of place... fun, food and laughs... oooh, or a comedy dinner club, those are always fun!

    1. Go to any local supermarket that has a sit down deli area, take a table cloth with you.
    2. Tell your date each of you must run through the store buying what each of you consider to be the best meal at said price.
    3. Each of you run through the store and meet back at the specified time, purchase the food (be sure to buy a candle or table light.
    4. Throw the table cloth over one of the deli tables and exchange the meals over candlelight.
If you don't get thrown out of the store, you will both laugh your heads off, learn a little something about each other, and take a risk together. If the date cannot step up to the challenge or cannot cut loose or is too worried about what others might say...well, you have learned very valuable information about the future of your relationship in a very short time.

    Cheers!

Bring him to the gym and get a good workout with him. Better yet let me work with both of you. :)

Someone already said it but comedy, or improve, would be fun, although not much chance to chat. Other ideas are not so spontaneous, you might have to plan but maybe a class, like a cooking class, together, or a dancing class. A sporting event is better for chatting than a movie. You could go somewhere walkable and do a progressive dinner, like getting appetizers one place, dinner somewhere else and dessert another place.
I was going to say wine or beer tasting, but I think you don't drink?
    And do have fun!

I'm a fan of Dave and Busters and the bowling idea. The environment enables conversation, and the activity can help move conversation along.

I also like the idea of the progressive dinner - though you may want to hold off on that one until it's a bit warmer.

    Have fun!

Why can he not come round to your house?! Cook him dinner, get a nice bottle of wine. Done.
