Hey everyone.....anyone??

Well I hope everyone is out there doing something to get healthier. I find that working toward mini goals is how I get my best results and it helps me stay focused. My goal this month was to break the 220's, and I did that yesterday, so I figure my next goal should be to get into the mid teens this month. I would love to get to 215 by months end.

I found that I was bored with my food and had to change my menu up. I also increased my exercise, not time wise but distance (from 2.25 miles of running in 30 minutes to 2.5 miles in 30) and that is helping.

Only 12 days left until the end of June...are you going to go for it and at least end up 1 pound lighter this month or are you going to keep doing things the same way and end right where you started, or worse, heavier? :noway:

Everyone is invited! Even if you have close to 100lbs to loose. It is a long journey and we might as well have people to lean on that are going through the same process.

    Welcome

I have been doing extremely well for the past few days and have found a new confidence in doing this. I am hoping to be around 220 at the end of the month.

So Far so good, I know there are more of us out there that need support!

This is great, it helps me stay accountable to myself and if I motivate in the process that motivates me even more! Let's do this.

I was starting to think I was the only one with a huge amount of weight to lose. Thank goodness there are others. I just could not handle another 130lb woman complaining that she couldn't lose the last 5lb.

I have just joined myfitnesspal tonight. At my heaviest, I weighed 312 lbs. I am now 287. My daughter is getting married next summer, so I have one year to lose 100 pounds. I need all of the support that I can get. I have been following the GI DIET so far. Is anyone else having success with it ?
