A perfect day of eating is...??

Can anyone suggest a perfect day of eating?? I'd like to see what kind of things everyone is eating!

I currently eat the following 90% of the time... last week I threw in the towel for three days. I hadn't ever done that but I was totally frustrated, I ate crap for three days. But normally... I don't do that at all.

egg whites
oatmeal
salad with balsamic and goat cheese & walnuts & tomato
zucchini with parm and pasta sauce
egg white omlette with veggies
Dr Praegers Spinach pancakes
Amys Spinach & Feta Pockets
Broccoli and Red Pepper-Mushroom Stir fry (no oil) with light salt pepper season
Red Pepper and Cucumbers with balsamic
Egg white sandwiches on 100 cal whole wheat
Honeycrisp apples
Strawberries
Grilled Chicken on occasion, no more than 3 oz.
Corn tortillas with beans, lettuce and tomato

I feel like eating like this 90% of the time should be giving me some kind of results. Scale stuck for 8 weeks or more now.
I exercise daily.
I'd love to get some new ideas!

That looks pretty decent to me. Take a look at my food diary for yesterday if you want. I was very happy and felt really good with that, and seem to be gravitating towards those foods lately. But I tend to go in cycles with various foods and eat whatever seems to be working for me - as long as it isn't overboard on the calories or nutritionally disastrous.

  • Well I figure I have fiber covered since I eat mostly veggies. Never thought much about that. I drink plenty of water MOST days. Again at least 90% of the time
