So I must admit....

I have a lot of things to admit. I have to tell everyone. Not just family haha.
1. This website is addicting. It's on as much as my Facebook is.
2. I never thought dieting and exercise was really this easy. I always shrugged it off and hated it.
3. Ever since I started this website....I couldn't BELIEVE how much crap I used to eat. When I was in High School, I'd eat what my dad would make (eggs, toast, oatmeal, breakfast burritos....whatever he chose that morning to make). Lunch, I'd have a sandwich, chips, cookies, maybe icecream. if I didn't bring lunch to school, I'd get some money to buy cheesy nachos or pizza. THEN after school, I'd come home and eat a whole box of Macaroni and Cheese. And when dad came home from work...I'd eat dinner with him. Senior year, I didn't have P.E. The only exercise I had was walking home from school and walking to classes. That was it. When I moved out of the house, I would eat fast food almost every night. You know...Burger King....I'd have 3 Buck Doubles and maybe a slice of pie. Or fried chicken with icecream.
4. I was tired of feeling sluggish and heavy. When I quit my job at McDonald's, I'd clean the house and lay around and eat all day. No exercise. It finally hit me. When I saw I had to go up 3 flights of stairs...I'd pout and would try to find an elevator. I hated going up the stairs. I'd feel exhausted on the second flight! WINDED! That's a horrible feeling!
5. I thank my friend Kimmy for showing me this website. In a way, she saved my life! :]
6. I always thought eating healthy food was expensive. But it's not! It's less actually....because you stop buying unnecessary junk food and only buy the things you know you will eat and are good for you.
7. I got a scale the other day and CRIED when it read 240 pounds. I always told myself I'd never hit 200. Well look at where I am now! It's scary!
8. This is easy. I know I can do. Anyone can.
9. I want to thank everyone for being so supportive! You all are great people!
10. Thank you for reading my this....whatever it is. haha :]

We are here for you!! I find this board helpful, too. I'm really learning how key exercise is for me to have success--just having a few extra calories to work with makes a big difference, and it's a lot harder when I don't get it in. Welcome, and yay for Kimmy!0

Thanks for sharing.
Best wishes to you.0 -
I agree this website is addicting (I work from home at my computer, and this has bumped Facebook...)
I also agree this website has been fabulous for support, motivation, and showing me how just making healthier lifestyle choices (both food and exercise) can be so much easier than I ever thought - I never hated exercise, I was just lazy (since we are being honest)...
Good Luck!!0 -
I'm feeling the exact same way! I can't believe all the stuff I generally eat, and most times all that extra junk I find myself eating just because I'm bored or putting off doing something. Now I'm working on keeping myself busy so thats not so much a problem. Every year since high school when I find myself having to buy the next size bigger its so discouraging, but this site is already so encouraging just 5 days in! We can all do this with a little determination! Thanks for sharing0

Thank you for this! It's so true. I think a lot of people have been where you were at some point. For me it was eating out a lot and not being as active as I usually was. It catches up with you after a while. I really liked this post!0

Admitting was the first step to your new "lifestyle". Congrats for taking the 1st step. Now just keep putting one foot in front of the other and you'll reach the stars. Good luck to you and I'll be here if you need me.0
