Something I started doing recently...I have a DVR which means I can record my favorite TV programs to save for later (think TIVO). Well lately I've been allowing myself to watch them only while riding my exercise bike. I can't wait to watch my shows, and if I have to exercise to do it, it's motivating me to move. I have so much trouble with motivating myself to exercise! And it makes the time go by so much faster. I can do 45 minutes and burn 475 calories without even realizing it. It's great!

TIVO IS AWSOME.... I'm glad you found something to motivate you.. The only problem with tivo is that I tend to have a few weeks worth of shows that I try to catch up on at one time... everyonce in a while a weather report will flash by and I'm like.. crap another storm.... My kids are always saying... Duh mom this show is old.... so is the weather report... .. I know they think I'm crazy anyways. Keep on recording and keep on working out!!

That is how I got started with exercise after a long time of avoiding. Isn't it nice when you find something that gets you going and gets two things done at the same time? Multi tasking is a beautiful thing!
