Marinated?

How do you account for calories of something that has been marinated?

i.e., for dinner this evening my husband marinated some chicken breasts in Italian dressing. He used a lot of dressing but of course we throw out the marinate afterwards.

Thoughts?

I'd estimate how much dressing clung to each piece of chicken, and count that. Perhaps 1 Tablespoon? 2 Tablespoons?

Measure how much you put in, and measure how much you take out.

    Account for only what remained.
