Hi Everyone,
I'm new to MFP, I've been using the food & exercise journal since the end of Jan. I was in Weight Watchers about 5 years ago and I lost a ton of weight. I have been pretty complacent over the last year and i'm trying to get down to a healthy weight size. I notice that I am more conscience of what I eat when I have to write everything down, that's why I joined MFP. There is WW here @ work, but I can't really afford any new expenses right now. So this was the perfect alternative!
My family and I have been using the Wii Fit daily and I also use my break time @ work to walk. I walk about 2-3 miles a day just on my breaks/lunch.
I could use some ideas/tips on packing healthier/tasty lunches. Today I had tuna (no mayo, used 1 tbsp of olive oil & chopped up some green olives & jalepenos), I hijaked that recipe from someone on a previous post (don't remember the user name, sorry!).
Anyhow, I have a 16 y/o son and a 9 year old daughter and am engaged to be married. I like hard rock/metal type of music/reading/etc... I have been doing yoga daily which I really enjoy - it relaxes me after a long day at work. I have 2 dogs, one is a staffordshire mix and the other is a chi/maltese/Lhasa apso mix - yea i have two mongrels. LOL
Friend me, I sure could use any tips or recipes on making healthier meals at home.
Happy Wednesday!
