I'm home!! Another 7.5 hour drive--yuck!

But I'm sooooo glad to be back with my "real" food and my bike and my MFP family!

I think I was good while I was gone. We ate out 3x.

Once I had chicken breast filet sans breading and a salad.

Then I had a grilled pork chop at another meal with some mashed potatoes.

Then last night we went out to a Mexican Restaurant, and I had maschata--which is shredded beef with spices.

Didn't try to estimate what the calories were in any of it, but keep the rest of my food light, so am sure I didn't go over calories any day.

DIDN'T CHEAT OR SPLURGE EITHER!! Yea me!

Can't wait to weight tomorrow and see what my scale tells me.

Like you I find it worth the effort to think differently when I'm on business travel but I was concerned about leisure travel until recently. I just completed a 3600 motorcycle trip and found it easier than I thought to eat, exercise and occasionally add a desert. My weight didn't go up or down so I call that a fair trade for all the fun I had.

Motorcycle riding is actually pretty good exercise.

I discovered that when we did a trip through Canada about 6 years ago and my blood sugar keep going low while riding. Dangerous yes, but I was surprised that riding took that much energy to drive my levels down. I had to really load up on carbs all day to keep it up.

Welcome home to MFP!!! haha!!! Glad to had a nice vacation... don't worry about what the scale says tomorrow (if you gain) cause it will only be water weight. If you lose then YAY for you!!!

Oh, I did bring 2 unwanted guests home with me :grumble:

I developed 2 HUGE blisters on my Achilles Tendons (1 per foot) from walking on the treadmill at the hotel. My shoes weren't new--wear them all the time--so don't know why I got blisters but they're hurt like heck! Hoping when I go to ride my bike tomorrow that they don't impact my riding.
