Oh no I feel like I'm falling off the wagon. Yesterday I had a cupcake that was like 500 calories so I went to the gym and tripled my workout and burnt more than 1000 calories. (I use a watch that tracks my calories burned) and today I had class until 9:30 and I was doing really well all day until I get home and I was hungry and I saw left over fries and I ate some of them. I only went over like 150 calories but I'm feeling so ****ty now. Now I feel like I have to work extra hard in tomorrow's workout...i'm planning another 1000 calorie burnt workout...Am I pushing myself too hard?

It happened to me the other day, felt terrible despite only being over slightly. But today is a new day!0

LOL, yes I think you are pushing yourself to hard. Tomorrow is a new day, go to the gym, burn some calories, and try your best to stay away from leftover fries.. Also, that must have been one big a*s cupcake to be 500 calories:noway:0

to quote my favorite movie:
"Tomorrow is a new day, with no mistakes in it."
Don't beat yourself up, nobody can be perfect. it's part of being human. You know what you could have done different, or better, so next time it comes to that you can have this to look back on to help you make the better choice.
Hang in there - we're rooting for you!0 -
Yes, you are pushing yourself too hard I think.
Take it easy!
And try not to get too hungry (snac, snack, snack) because that is when you will eat just about anything!0 -
Yep, be a bit kinder to yourself, you are in the process of changing your life and that is fantastic but from to time you are gonna make daft choices!!!! The art of change is accepting that you made a daft choice and getting back to it the following day! Good luck!0

Sounds like someone is on the perfectionism train. I’ve ridden it all y life an I’m here to tell you to let it go. You don’t have to master your calories every day. You don’t have to flog yourself with exercise because you indulge in a treat that isn’t the best for your plan. This is not an all or nothing journey. It’s one day, one meal at a time, baby step process. And it moves backwards some times. Release your expectations. This isn’t a race. There is no winning or losing. There is only doing the best you can. And when you do less than your best, it’s not time to punish yourself or unleash all the little voices telling you what a bad person you are. It’s time to dig deeper, recommit, and move on.0

Thanks everyone for the encouragement, I really needed it! I weighed myself this morning just so that I can get more motivated and I actually lost a lb since saturday. It feels pretty good but now I know that it's ok to slip up once in a while at least i'm eating bad food in moderation rather than everynight like I used to!0
