Polar HRM A3 Questions?

Someone gave me a Polar A3 with chest strap, it's an older model but still works. I'm not sure how it works though ..

I have not been able to find on it where it tells you "calories burned" maybe this model doesn't have it, I don't know... Was wondering if anyone was familiar with this model?
