Hi Girls (or boys if you comment)

Im looking for some quick easy recipies (with not too many ingrediants cos im a bit lazy) but from the UK, I love that hungry girl website you all talk about but we can't buy half th stuff here :-( I dont eat beef/pork (unless its minced, I know im strange) but I love chicken, prawns and turkey :-)

Any suggestions would be great!! x

Not from the UK but found this page on the BBC good food website:

  • i make a prawn & Harissa stew, really easy and yummy

    couscous
    fry light
chicken stock fresh, cube or concentrate, made up to100ml
    1 small onion , sliced
    garlic clove , crushed
    1 tsp ground cumin
1/2 400g tin of chopped tomatoes
    1 tsp harissa
    75g peeled prawns

Fry onion & garlic for a few mins, add cumin, tomatoes and harissa paste and bubble for 5 mins till slightly thicker. add prawns and heat through or cook till prawns are done.

    serve with couscous or rice.

I add sliced red peppers aswell which is lovely, and you can up the quanities of prawns to make it a larger portion. What ive listed serves 1 and everything can be bought in a supermarket, i get mine from Morrisons :D

Chicken casserole is easy and tasty. I buy one of the colemans mixes, throw everything into a pot and stick it in the oven. Job done! Its great in a slow cooker too if you have one.
