I need some help on a way to make a meal out of Chicken and it taste yummy and it be healthy all together!! trying to stay under a 700 Cal Dinner!!

    we like to do skinless boneless chicken breast with some garlic on it and some malt vinager. Put those on there and bake till done with it wrapped in alluminum foil. You could even throw in some cut up onions in the foil to add to the taste. I always have steamed asperagus and a salad with it. IT is really good.

    Maple glazed apple chicken. It is a weight watchers recipie. I think if you google it you can find it. If not I will post it a little later. It is allready in the food database so that is a plus as well.

    Check out my diary for dinner yesterday - salsa+cheese chicken with roast red potatoes (spice + 1tbsp olive oil), and asparagus with parmesan cheese. Only 500 calories. There are PLENTY of ways to go - the key is in the cooking (don't overdo oil)

    You could do a healthy Chicken Parmesan-- just coat chicken breasts with egg whites, then dip into a mix of Whole Wheat breadcrumbs and a little bit of parmesan. Coat a skillet with PAM, and cook the chicken until almost cooked through. Then, place the chicken in a baking dish, and cover with a jar of tomato sauce/ marinara. Top each chicken breast with a thin slice of reduced fat mozzarella.

    Serve it with roasted broccoli with garlic, and a side salad (romaine, red onion, cucumber, tomato, hearts of palms, etc)

    We had this recipe for Apple and Prosciutto Stuffed Chicken last night, and it was delish!

    I would suggest not bothering with the cream sauce, it actually bogs down the chicken and hides the taste of the stuffing. (Not to mention it's just extra calories with no added nutrition.) We also seasoned the chicken breasts with garlic and a little pepper before stuffing them. Without the cream sauce, you can have an entire chicken breast (two stuffed rolls) for under 400 calories!

  • hey i was reading you post i have an amazing chicken dinner its pilgrams quick and lean 95%lean sliced chick breast you marinate it for 30 min in lemon pepper marinate then you grill it you can have 5 chicken strips for 180 cal and green giant corn for 80 cal and birds eye broccoil cheese and pasta 1 cup for 120 this will fill you up! a whole meal for 380!!!!!! and the marinate it 10 cal her table spoon so 400 tops
