Des Moines Iowa ?

My friend is originally from DesMoines and told really wants to take me there and show me around and meet old friends - etc. If I find a race to run there - 1/2 Marathon then I get a free trip.

Anyone have any ideas, suggestions, or dates?

    Dam to Dam is always a fun time. Thats the first week of June. There's also a Des Moines Marathon. Google them and I'm sure theyd have the exact dates.

    Im running the dam to dam (in Des Moines) half marathin in June for the 1st time. I am on my 2nd week of training!

    Nope never been there. I've looked online for possible races but didn't know what the "good" ones were. We have so many "local" ones here that are just poor with little participation and lacking any fun that I didn't just want to pick one and hope I picked a good one. I'll look up the Dam to Dam - is June a good time to go to Des Moines?
