OK, trying this out and know what? I am spending more money. How does this save, just a few questions for the going green lovers to a newbie....

I recycle, cans, glass, newspaper and plastic.

I try not to use harsh chemicles.

I try to use the left over water we don't finish by dumping it is buckets for my garden and flowers.

We turn off the lights, use lower energy bulbs and don't drive gas guzzlers.

We have VW's and a Honda that are our primary vehicles.

We only use the duelley when we haul or travel due to the double gas tanks and not having to fill up as often.

Here is my question?? Is it hurting your wallet?? I have been pricing some things nad geez, some of the recycled items are 2-3 dollars higher.

I know it saves the earth for the next generations, but man oh man, my money belt is suffering.

I have even started the garden in march and planted several trees.....

What else can I do??

I would like to recycle but it is $11 a month extra to have recycling picked up and I am broke :ohwell: and there are no nearby drop off locations.
