lossing motivation

I've noticed in the last couple weeks (since I have lost access to a scale) I've also lost motivation to be on target with my diet goals, I'm good all day and over eat at dinner. I had access to a very good doctor's scale and did weigh in once a week, it felt great to see results or just to know I hadn't gained anything. I'm scared to step on another scale because if it is calibrated differently I might be heavier than my last weigh in and just have a small freak out, this I can get over but in the end I still feel like I need that blasted scale for feedback. Does anyone have a good suggestion for a quality home scale?

Just got a Weight Watchers digital scale at Target. So far so good.

I use my Wii Fit balance board as my scale. My goal is to get my chubby Mii to slim down!! (And me, as well, in the process)

Don't just use the scale as your gauge for how successful you are. Listen to your body, how your clothes fit, how you feel when you exercise. You're making healthy changes that aren't necessarily reflected in the numbers. Keep at it!!

Top rated consumer reports scale is Taylor 7506. Best of luck!
  • Tanita makes a good selection of digital scales and health equipment for home use. http://www.tanita.com/en/personal/

Remember, this is a lifestyle change and isn't a quick fix so don't get discouraged. Just keep moving forward and results will come. Good luck and stay motivated!
