Since changing to a healthier diet, consuming wholegrains & loads of veg, i've really been struggling to eat all of my cslorie allowance.
I'm trying not to starve myself, but some days i really can't eat anymore especially if i've done a workout.
Has anyone got any ideas how to up my calorie intake by about 150 cal without extra fat or sugar?

I am having the same problem. I have been eating whole unsalted almonds to try and fill in the missing calories.0

avocados and nuts will fix that in a quick and healthy way0

let me have em if you dont want em, ......lol.0

Nuts are a great wat to do that. they have lots of good fats and they are high in calories so you dont have to eat a lot to make up the remaining calories for the day.0

cottage cheese!0

More protein. Add a chicken breast to a meal and that will take care of it.0

Ah yes, nuts! Can't believe I forgot those. Love nuts, and was really disappointed in just how few were in my 100 calorie Emerald bags.0

Cottage cheese is good, but it is also high in sodium so watch that.0

I've been adding dry cottage cheese to everything from breakfast: fiber 1 cereal with 1/2 cup of dry cottage cheese and 1/4 cup milk and whatever fruit if on sale at the market. I add it to my chicken burgers (i mix it with a little fat free sour cream). I add it to my tuna sandwiches....etc
There isnt much fat or carbs and its very low on sodium but it has tons of protein
But it has to be the dry stuff. I get foremost brand.

I usually try to eat about 75% of my calorie allowance, rather than the entire amount, because I feel many exercise estimates are way off. I typically have no problem with this because I love to eat =X Some of my favorite snacks: frozen grapes, chobani yogurts, sauteed veggies (with olive oil, not butter), and the good old "healthy" popcorn. Oh yeah, and salads! There are so many varieties, and as long as you watch the dressing, they're so healthy!0

Well, first off, you are right about the cardio machines not being totally accurate on burned calorie counts. You should at the very least be entering in your age and weight into the machine, that will make it more accurate. If you are truly interested in getting an accurate accounting, you should buy a heart rate monitor and watch.
I enjoy eating an evening snack or dessert, so if I want to eat up all my leftover calories I can do that then with no issue. However, if you are really not hungry anymore at the end of the day I wold try padding some of your other meals with just a few extra calories. I am sure you can sneak an extra 50-60 calories in somewhere and not really notice it.0 -

You don't HAVE to eat all your calories if you are full. Listen to your body. If it's saying your full, then don't eat. A friend of mine is doing this with me and she has lost 20 lbs over the past 6 weeks and hasn't been eating all of her calories but feeling full.
I have seen some people post about protein shakes, which some can be kinda gross. I have been drinking EAS Advantage shakes. The Dark Chocolate & French Vanilla are very good. You should be able to find them at your grocery store. 110 Calories, only 3 fat grams, 17 g of protein and absolutely no sugar.0
