Bored with my Recipes

Does anyone have any good chicken or asian-inspired recipes they'd like to share. I've been cooking out of the cooking light fresh food fast cookbook and I love the recipes, but I'm a little bored with alternating my favorite recipes from it every week. I'm a college student so I'm on a budget - any suggestions would be much appreciated, and I'm willing to share the recipes I do have!

I don't, BUT you should check out allrecipes.com. You can search by ingredient, by style, by "low-calorie" or whatever, and save your favorites right there on the site in your "recipe box." I've found a lot of good new recipes that way.

I also use allrecipes.com because you can search by ingrediants for different ideas. I hat when I get in a cooking rut so I force myself to put in a few standard ingrediants and make something new!

Tonight I made a chicken fajita pizza. Very easy and yummy.

I took a prepared pizza crust. Topped it with 1.5 cups of salsa, 2 cups of onions and peppers sauted in PAM spray, 1 cup cooked chicken breast in tiny slices, and 1/2 cup shredded parmesan cheese.
When I put all of my ingredients in the recipe calculator, it came out to less than 350 calories for 1/4 of a 12" pizza.

I added a side salad. VERY tasty dinner. Can't wait to have a leftover slice for my lunch tomorrow!
  • might -- i cooked a recipe from allrecipes.com tonight and i really enjoyed it. my only question is how do you keep track of the calories and everything in these recipes or anything else that you make from scratch? none of the ones i looked at had nutritional information listed. im new to the site so i havent figured it out yet!
  • radicalreader - that sounds great! i love things like that, thanks for the idea
