When I am putting in my walking should I add my time and calories all at once or add my walking times in my different spurts?

Doesn't matter- you can add the first walk and then just go in and add more time throughout the day or just count it up and add in at the end of the day- its up to you!
  • I walk to and from work (it's about 4 miles round trip), and I enter it as one entry.

i add it in different spurts, as it helps me to keep track of my paces better, but i dont think it matters all that much, just do what feels right for u hon :)

    best wishes

Thats one of the more inaccurate qualities of mfp. When you enter it, it doesnt really matter if you do it all at once, or separate. However, if you walk for an hour you will burn more calories than if you walk for thirty minutes twice, because your heart rate will have to go up twice, rather than keeping it at the max burning zone.
I dont think that came out quite right, but I think my brain has gone on vacation....
