Do you record if you gain?

I went home over the holidays and got way out of my routine (I tried my hardest to workout it just didn't happen). Then I get back and my husband came home on R&R...well, no working out then either...I finally got down to my pre going home weight and then helped a friend move...needless to say...I am 4-5 pounds heavier again. Should I put my current weight in and start from there? Or wait until I get back down to my last recorded weight? I'm very upset with all the weight gain...I'm hoping most of it is water since I have started drinking water (I was drinking 0 glasses a day and I'm up to 24oz, know its not enough but its a start...).

any opinions are appreciated. :)

For me it depends on how much I gained. If it's more than two pounds (which I know are most likely water weight) and i haven't been on track for a while, I log it because it's a new starting point. I don't change my goals or anything, it's just for me to keep track.

I would go ahead and put it in your weigh-in. Don't change your starting weight or anything -- that would negate all the work you've already done, and you've done a lot! Just weigh in like you normally would, and then get back on track.

Alright :) Thanks. I will put in whatever my weight is on Monday (since that's the day I normally weight in on here).

Or you can not post until you lose the weight you gained. Technically, the ticker is for tracking the weight you've lost, not gained.
