I purchased the Suunto M5 from Amazon, excellent bit of kit. I would highly recommend to anyone looking to buy a HRM.
Easy to setup and use, looks great as well.
Now I can accurately measure calories burned, 40 minute session at home, 800 cals burned.
no more under estimating or over estimating using gym equipment. This will help me achieve my goals even faster.
6 weeks in and 34 pounds lost :-)

Suunto takes a back seat to Polar, but they make good HRMs. Their calorie-estimating technology is equal to, if not better than Polar, as well as I have been able to determine.
Normally I would say that 800 calories in 40 minutes is way overestimating, but if you are in decent shape, at your size it is possible.0
