The Scale is an Enemy (and Friend)

I usually weigh myself on Friday mornings. Yesterday, I stepped on out of curiousity..and the scale told me I had only lost .6 pounds..I was a little disappointed to be honest. I stepped on the scale this morning and I was down another 1.4! I clearly didn't lose 1.4 pounds in 24 hours..so wtf? I mean, I'm not going to complain about losing 2 pounds since last week..but if the scale fluctuates that much, how am I really supposed to know how much weight I've actually lost in the process so far?!

Oh...I do not weigh myself each day, fluctuations in water weight alone will change it...I personally only jump on once a week...That is the best advice I can give...

.6 is a good loss anyway...healthy loss is 1-2 pounds per week so losing anything is better than a gain...

    Don't sweat it.
