So this morning I had one tofu donut from Dunkin' Donuts. I know there were 120 cals but I was wondering if anyone knew about the nutritional value of it. My husband really wanted donuts and it sounded like the healthier choice:) plus it was lower in calories. I'm not a big fan of tofu but it was really good!
So can anyone tell me how much protein, carbs, and fat I just ate or where I can find out? I'm clueless about all things tofu!
Thank you!

Tofu dontus? This si the first I have heard of it. Are they good? Like, as good as a real donut, or just better than no donut? Lol, curious!

I currently live in South Korea. Tofu is really popular here. They might not be available in the states at all. It was really good. I think I liked it better than regular donuts! If you ever have a chance to try one I recommend it. Thanks for your help everyone! If I find the information, I'll post it.

Just another way for the food companies to continue to poison us with things they are trying to deem as healthy.

I am turned off by all things that are chain related, such as chain stores, restaurants, especially fast food.

I was really curious too, so I did a little googling. It looks like some of the recipes are one part pancake mix and two parts tofu, with some water to mix it together, and then fried. I don't know how much that helps with nutritional information. They're probably just *relatively* healthier than their all-flour counterparts. However, now I'm intrigued, and I definitely will try one the first chance I get!

@jady121584- Thank you so much for the information. I'll know for the future! I agree, they are pretty tasty despite being tofu.
  • Tofu's awesome! Haters.
