I told myself I wasn't going to go shopping until I had lost another 25 pounds. Well my mom called and wanted me to go with her so I went. I just don't understand how I can lose this much weight and not change sizes. My first 30 pounds took me down from a 24 to a 20 and I've been there ever since, even though I've lost another 15 pounds. It's just frustrating. I guess I feel like I should be smaller than I am, but it's just taking soooo long. When I was at this weight before, I was an 18. I guess maybe things are flabbier now. I HATE SHOPPING! I just want to look good:sad:

I know it seems that the numbers on the scale and your size should go up or down together, but in reality one often lags behind the other. I've lost 115 pounds and can tell you that when you're doing this for the long haul you need to celebrate all kinds of success. You've lost 15 additional pounds and that is a huge accomplishment, your clothes size will follow. There will also be times when you will be sticking to your diet and the scale doesn't move, but your clothes start to get baggy, that's something to celebrate too. If you just stick to your food and exercise plan (since it's obviously working) all of this will come together in the end. You'll have a great body and a number on the scale that won't cause you to lie to the DMV.

You're doing great! Keep up the good work and praise yourself for what you've accomplished.

45 pounds is great! Don't get discouraged!
I know, believe me!...I know how it feels.:grumble:
It's called instant gratification and it's not gonna happen!
BUT, you WILL get there! Slowly and surely! It may not happen as fast as you want it, but once you get there it will be worth the wait!
    Don't give up!
It could also be the brand of clothes you were trying on!
I'm a 10 right now and some 8's fit me??!! Believe me. I HAVE NEVER EVER EVER said that before. EVER.
I have been a 14 for as long as I can remember.
When I started this at the beginning of the year, I thought I would have been at my goal by now, seeing that I started in January, I figured I could easily lose 50 pounds by now? Nope.
It's taking way longer than I thought. But, I won't give up.
The comments I get from people that haven't seen me in awhile are all worth it!
    Feeling Good!!
Wanna join? the feel good club!

don't give up! Congrats of the 45 gone!:drinker:
