I have been tracking my food for a month now. I started on here less then a month ago, so i didn't add calories for exercising before. I only work out for 30-60 min a day with exercise tv on demand. I wish I could work out more but Im a stay at home mom with two babies. So I get it in when I can. I'm not over wieght, but my body got ruined by pregnancy. I didn't exercise more then 5-10 times during both my pregnancies together. I feel like I work my butt off and I eat so heathy! But.... I have only lost 1-2 lbs. I am to my prepregnancy wieght, but less then a year before babies, i was ten pounds less. I have been working out for a little less then a year too. I just didn't change my diet at all because I nursed for six months. I know muscle weighs more then fat... but seriously.... what gives? I only have lost one pants size too. so I have not seen much difference. I am sore everyday. so I know that I'm working out well. sometimes I don't work out one day a week on a sat or sun for lazy sake. I just don't feel like I should be where I am. I know if i had time and was able to go out to exercise, I would work out for a min of 60 min.... but its just not gonna happen. I can't leave my babies home alone. I wish there was a magic trick. and I wish that my skin on my stomach was loose for the rest of my life. do you think it will ever ever tighten up if i keep at it? my babies are 2 n 1/2 and 1. Is anyone else in a similar situation and feel as helpless and stuck as I am?

::raises hand:: Me. I feel hopeless and stuck. Zero weight loss, however, I have been working out for 5+ months.....I know muscle weighs more than fat and takes up less space....yet, nothing still fits.

Maybe more cardio may help. It really is hard to lose the baby fat; however, there is hope for there are a lot of people on here that have kids (including myself) that have been able to get a tight ab (I'm not there yet) :) Don't give up, keep exercising and eatting right and slowly but steady you will lose some weight. Pilates is GREAT for toneing. They have free online videos on youtube that you can workout to. Best of luck!!!!! :)
  • sucks huh? You are looking for something to change. everyone else i know changes... then im told when you weigh more you loose more. but I just want 5 to 10. seems realistic. but seriously hard! I guess we will just have to see how long it takes by keep doin what we are doin. I read on another post to try to increase your cal 1-2 hundred and see if that helps... It doesn't feel like the answer. but maybe worth a shot for a week or two to try?

I think the amount of time you are able to exercise is GREAT! It could be possible that you're actually eating too few calories each day.... make sure you're eating at least 1200. Good luck!
  • It sucks when you work hard and don't lose!!! Even when you aren't losing, everything you are doing is going to improve your health, and at the end of the day that is what is important. Keep at it and you will likely see some changes in your body soon. Good luck!!
  • this too few calorie thing just goes against everything that im obsessing over. but im gonna try for a week or two. I do know that i often don't get to finish my logging because i fall asleep without remembering, so my logs are off a treat or snack a day usually. also, i make at least 3-5 meals a day that are not for me that i often taste test but how do you log one noodle or o taste of chichen salad or spaghetti sauce? so i try to stay under my cal per day on purpose to leave a little wiggle room for tastes or a piece of dark chocolate or a hand full of almonds that i miss logging.... should i hit the min and not worry about the overage?
