No more excuses

I've never been real good at keeping a food diary and hope this will help me stay on track. Too many vacations and family issues have made me lazy and it usually (always) adds up to a large weight gain. I'm hoping this will help keep me motivated and accountable for the good and bad choices that I make. We just lost a family member a week ago and it reinforces the need to take care of myself and maintain a healthy weight. No more excuses, I need to get it done!

I'm really sorry for your loss, but sometimes the best things take a wake up call to get going. I remember hearing a story about a guy who had an asthma attack or something on a plane, and he thought he was going to die. Even though that incident seemed horrific, he used that to turn his life around, lost weight, and ended up becoming not only a fitness guru, but a millionaire. I hope you can embrace this source of inspiration and get through this!

Everyone on this site is very kind and encouraging. I'm sure you'll be met with success :)
