meeting one nutritional target without

Im having a hard time getting all the nutrients that my diet requires without going OVER the target required for other nutrients.
If I need more protein at the end of the day I always go over the sodium limit, this always happens especially when I'm trying to make up for carbs, I go over my sugar limit everyday. I'm thinking I just eat a lot of the same things maybe? And I haven't discovered foods that isolate the nutrients I'm trying to get. Or maybe I'm over thinking all this. Does anyone else have this problem? If so what do I need? Also the sugar thing? 32g of sugar is really hard to stay under in an entire day ya know? Friggin hopeless

The targets are not set in stone numbers, You're not going to have a day when youre under on every single thing, and you shouldn't. Some items are good to go over on. Unless you have specific limits for number of carbs/protein/sugar etc set for a diet plan you are on or by a doctor, I would ignore the separate targets and just focus on calories and sodium.0

Yeah do that if you want to lose all your muscle and end up skinny fat.
Or take the advice of every bodybuilder and eat 150g of protein (judging by your size) and enough fat (60gish)on cuts. And sodium? Unless you're eating 5000mg a day don't even worry about it. Who cares if you are holding an extra 1 lb of water.....

Thanks will do, what do you mean by - 60g of fat on "cuts" of meat? or to aim for that amount of fat daily when cutting body weight? Obviously I'm pretty clueless, must be annoying, but i appreciate your help a lot. All I've ever paid attention to is protein and carbs so i dunno much of anything about the others... all i know is coach said to avoid sodium as much as I can cuz I'll retain more water and blah blah blah, so now in my eyes sodium is the devil....lolYeah do that if you want to lose all your muscle and end up skinny fat.

cuts as in losing weight. bulking = putting on weight (as much muscle% as possible) then a cut to get rid of the fat that inevitably accompanies the muscle growth on a bulk0

and as for sodium..... the fear is mostly over rated. Yeah it might be 1-2 lbs but I don't really worry about it. Before weigh-ins you'll want to phase it out and drink a TON of water 2-3 days before then stop all together the last day but I'm sure you've been through that.0
