I always seem to go over my carbohydrates and my fat (even when I'm within my calories) but I NEVER have enough protein. I am not a huge meat eater (chicken is about it). How do you guys get enough protein. I try to have peanut butter, cheese, or whatever, but it just doesn't seem to work...plus its SO high in fat! I know if I could cut the carbs back and add more protein weight loss would come easier, too! wish I didn't love breads soooooo much

I have been eating those 3 oz. predrained tuna pouches. 20 grams of protein and 90 calories! I just put a little salt and pepper on it and eat it plain or add it to a salad.

Protein is really hard for me too. Soy, like tofu and edamame is really versatile and low in calories. You can grate firm tofu and hide it in just about anything to boost your intake. Plus, soy can really lower your cholesterol. Mine went down 90 points when I added it into my diet.

    Good luck!

that's an easy one. Add yogurt, cheese, and some kind of nut to your diet. Almonds, and chick peas are great protein sources. Also, beans, many kinds of beans offer good choices for protein. You don't need lots of meat to get the protein you need. If you can help it, try to stay away from the suppliments for your protein as they don't digest the same, and you actually lose a lot of it.
