What are some high potassium, low-carb foods?

Options
I keep having intense leg cramps from working out (I know right?) and I've always ate bananas to counteract that but they are high in carbs and sugars and there has to be an alternative! Help!

    Here's a handy site - http://nutritiondata.self.com/

Click Tools -> Nutrient Search in the toolbar at the top of the page, then tell it what you want.

Thank you so much for the info! I have been having the same problem. I think chicken and spinach just made it on the menu for dinner. Thanks again!

thanks for sharing. I recently had my gall bladder removed and since I've had horrible leg pains. I found by coincidence that bananas greatly counteracted the problem. Tried taking potassium pills but that didn't help at all. I'll have to try some some of these to see if they have the same effect.

    - low sodium V8

    - Coconut Water

    - Leafy Greens (vegetables in general)

    - Tomato sauces and pastes...much more concentrated than just the actual fruit

    - Avocado is decent.

Also stuff like legumes and lentils...potatoes and sweet potatoes are outstanding as well, but those items are going to be higher carb.
