We are going to Carraba's for a birthday party today. They do not list nutritional info. Any ideas on what to eat at Carraba's?

I have never been there but I always ask a friend to split a meal with me. That always helps. The next step is to ask for a To-Go box and leave only what looks like an appropriate amount on your plate. Take the rest home with you. Once it is in the box it is out of your line of sight and then the temptation to keep eating is not as strong. I hope that helps.0

Here's what MFP has on Carrabba's but I'm not sure how accurate all of the numbers are. http://www.myfitnesspal.com/nutrition-facts-calories/carrabbas Chicken Bryan is one of my favorite better options... a huge meal for 540 calories. The bread and olive oil are your biggest calorie traps: STAY AWAY! And you may want to go with coffee instead of a dessert.
Good luck! And Enjoy! :flowerforyou:0 -
Look salads and put dressing on the side so you can control how much you use. Chicken or fish meals with no cream sauces. Limit pasta intake.0

If you like seafood, ask for scallops blackened, which are very good or enjoy the salmon or other fish offerings. Have a house salad and veggies with the meal. (Ask for the sauces on the side) They also have chicken, shrimp, or scallop salads. The Johnny Rocco is very good. (dressing on the side)

 Cheat. Enjoy. Walk a little more the coming week. Life is too short to not splurge occasionally, like at a birthday party.
:flowerforyou: the Chicken Bryan looks pretty darn tempting, you can have fun and not feel guilty.0 -
Love going to Carraba's, yum. When it's nice out My mom me and couple of friends go for a girls only time out.
We would get the Cozze in bianco and share that and then get two deserts to share also.
The Mezzaluna is good too, for that I would only eat half. They do have smaller plates of a lot of their dishes.0 -
Oh and they have these little shot glass type deserts that you can get .0
