Check out my diary for ideas. I'm a vegetarian but I always stick to my net calories of 1200.

Hi I'm on 1200 calories too. Breakfast every morning has to be porridge I use the oats so simple range. I also replace bread with crackerbread for lunches. I also replace normal potato with sweet potato I love it. Oh and I have now converted to quorn mince for chilli.
  • try using sandwitch thins instead of bread, and low cal/fat/carb dressing on a salad. Exercise is important too, you can burn approx 600 calories with a qucik 45 minute jog. Good luck

My calories are 1260 plus I eat my exercise calories (most of them) and it's been working well for me. I've lost a pound or two a week which is what I am going for. Feel free to look at my diary.

I either have a low at yogurt and cereal bar, or porridge for breakfast - usually about 200 cals ish.

Homemade soup and calorie controlled bread for lunch - again 250 cals ish

Lean meat and fresh veggies for dinner - around 300 to 500 cals depending on what I have.

Leave me plenty for snacks of a banana or dried fruit/nuts and a skinny latte!

Also, on days I exercise, I get calories back to eat
