Wellits been almost a whole month now and not a pound lost. Do others have this same kinda plateau? Ive even tried exercizing more and yes i do eat my exercize calories. My cals are for 12 50 a day and i rarely go over if i do its by approx 30 cals. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to break this hump? I am scared to take my meausrements this month becauise i feel like if i dont loose any weight i wont loose any inches. Please anyonehave any advice???

Measure yourself.
I see that you have lost 30 pounds so far. 3 weeks and 11 pounds in to starting this, I stopped losing and didn't lose for over 5 weeks.... Then it began coming off just as mysteriously again.
It seems that as your body gets smaller, it needs to adjust and accept that the weight loss is something that is good, and not starvation. I'm sure that if you keep going it will start coming off again.
I'm no professional, just my opinion. Keep going!0 -
Don't get discouraged! I had the same problem. It might be that you have to switch up your exercise routine. Your body is now used to the routine, so try and do something completely different, using your muscles in a different way. For instance, if you are running on a treadmill, try and do sprints outside like we used to do in gym class. Also running in place and bringing your knees up as high as you can. squat jumps are good too. I know they sound boring, but those little bursts of energy might help, and when you do that for even 10 minutes straight, you're tired.0

could be a lot of things. You are getting closer to your normal weight, you underestimate or overestimate your exercise cals, building muscle, got something in your food with lots of sodium?Maybe you need to switch it up caloriewise? There was a post about zig zaging , if I understood it right you would go on Monday 1200 net calories tuesday 1600, wednesday 1300, thursday 1400 friday maybe 1700 on saturday and 1800 on sunday,.it is supposed to keep your body guessing and get it out of it's plateu. I was stuck for 2 weeks but after a controlled splurge it is going back down. I hope this helps:flowerforyou:0

I had that problem when I started loosing weight last time. I did not count calories then so I ahd no clue what was wrong.
I seems as if after a while everybody hits a plateau for a while. Body adjusted to the new situation and now it is harder to loose weight.
But: if you count your calories and you know you stay within your limits you WILL loose weight.
Just hang in there. I know it is frustrating, but thanks to MFP you know at least you are on the right track.0
