Huh? I don't get it. Why does 8 ounces of asparagus have 190 calories? It doesn't seem like asparagus should have that much.

Does anyone know why?

    No idea... most sources I've seen come out to about 4 calories per spear...

    sure does make your pee stink..... Its because of the acid it forms after you eat it. or something like that.
