I am new and wondering how to add people on site as friends

Can anyone tell me how to add someone as a friend?

    As far as I have seen, you go to their profile and there is a button on there to add them as a friend.

    Yup, it's on the person you want to friend's profile page:) Welcome - the more friends you have, the more support/motivation - love it!
