Ok, I was reading somewhere online that based on my current weight (which is 373) that I should consuming about 3700 calories a day! Is this right?

Yes, if you want to maintain your current weight.0

I want to lose weight not maintain the current weight.0

You will need to create a calorie deficit. MFP will help you calculate this when you put in your current weight in and then your goal weight and how quickly you want to lose (1/2 lb per week or up to 2 lbs per week). Hope this helps!0
