New recommendations for FDA guidelines to advocate improved

I thought this article was interesting... the FDA looks like it may change the recommended sodium intake. We all should all try to consume less salt!

I thought it was incredible to learn that the current recommendation for salt is 2300 mg, which only equals approximately one teaspoon!! They are talking about reducing that to 1500 mg!!! I don't typically eat a lot of salt, but that may be hard to do.0

It isn't so hard, in the last 29 days I have only exceeded 1400 8 times, 11 times my sodium has been less than 800, 3 times it has been around 2100. The majority of the time it is around 1200. I dont eat processed food very often and when I season food I tend to use reduced salt vegetable stock.0
