I am loosing slowly but loosing...
BUT, my first personal goal was to be at 163 lb for my birthday which is a month away and I am not sure to do it.
If I exercise, I gain and I don't loose (probably muscles full of water). Please give me a hint or two...

Cut your calories by 100 a day and increase your exercise by 30 minutes daily . But since your bmi is 25 losing pounds will be slow. Good luck and congrats on your success up to now.0

Intervals & circuit weights....it's the only way for me to see any significant results
I don't know how much you currently weigh or want to lose, but as long as you keep it real & not try to do something unrealistic, you should be happy with the effort you put into it...fuel your workouts
The best to ya & happy early birthday :flowerforyou:0 -
I don't know how far you are from 163 but hopefully it's not more than 5-8 lbs. Keep up the exercise, drink lots of water, watch your sodium content, keep you calorie intake where it needs to be (don't take in too little or it will backfire). Don't give up on exercise - the weight will eventually come off. Muscle weighs more and looks better! You can do it!0

It depends on how much you have to lose. But the most you can lose safely would be 10 pounds.0

Losing is hard.. be careful setting a "goal" becuase a lot of the time if you dont completely reach it,,,, it can make you depressed.. believe me ive been there. I was in your position. I began "dieting and exercise" when I hit 193 at 22. Now at 23 I have successfully lost what I wanted to lose and am now one pound away from my goal, which is 130. Every diet is different because our bodies all respond differently to food. Im not sure what your diet consists of, but what i did was keeping it very low carb, instead of three large meals a day i eat five small meals a day to keep my metabolism going. I drink lots of water, mostly becuase i get that "full" sensation and am less likely to snack... dont just follow calories.. I follow sugar and fat as well.. for instance... skim milk is actually pumped witha ton of sugar... (they need to give it flavor somehow) so really watch your labels....
and the fun part...exercise... again i dont know what you do for exercise but i do 30 minues of instense cardio and i do weights to tone as well as abs.. my daily workout starts with the treadmill or a spinning class, 20-30 minutes on my abs, and I do free weight for arms... Weights can burn just as much if not more cals then cardio..... good luck I really hope you reach your goal
you can do it

Exercise anyway. The water weight will go away after a week or so, but if you don't exercise, you will lose too much muscle tissue. During calorie defecit your body pulls calories from both fat and muscle. If you exercise, the ratio is about 75% fat, 25% muscle. If you don't exercise, you lose 50% from each.
Keep your calories about 500 below maintenance, or BMR, every day and you will lose. If you exercise, eat back most of those calories. If you exercise 3 times per week, it will be like you are on a calorie cycle, so your body won't reset your metabolism as easily.
Good luck! You can do this.0 -

I did not thought about sodium intake, that may be a why I have a hard time... I do have a salty teeth...0 -
You can def. pull off 5 lbs in this last month. Watch what you eat & keep a good eye on the sodium you take in. Maybe try a new workout DVD or workout in general to boost your dedication to losing it!
Good luck & Happy early Birthday!0
