Scale or Body Fat Analyzer - A better investment?

Hi All
For those who are trying to lose the last few pounds (Aww How tought that is!) and trying to keep it off , what is the best investment between having a reliable bathroom scale or a body fat analyzer (the kind Omron makes),

I understand weight fluctuates 2-3 pounds during the month for ladies especially, so is having a body fat analyzer a better investment, not to carried away by the fluctuations in weight.

Short and Sweet, why would someone choose one over the other, given they cost pretty much the same.

Thanks in advance

Thanks
Savitha

  • I'm not familiar with the Omran brand, but we just picked up a Salter Body Fat Analyzer scale for my house... It can be used to measure body fat %, water% and muscle mass, but can also be used as a weight scale only. Again not sure about the brand but ours cost 99$ taxes in (Canadian dollars) and does everything.

My Salter scale has a built in body fat, muscle and water analyser and I love it!
