So tomorrow is payday, and I am so stoked to restock my kitchen with fresh ingredients and lower sodium foods, along with whole wheat bread and pastas and produce. I have to start from scratch too, which kinda sux. Having a 2 month old and a 2 yr old I have to drag shopping with me is gonna suck, but alas. I twill all be worth it in the end when I have a bangin' new body for my hubby to come home to and can fit in that cute lil' dorothy outfit! lol (my hubby is kinda weird lol) if anyone has any suggestions on some great recipes or ingredients i should invest in ill gladly accept advice! thx!

I find fruit and veg is really expensive to buy. It was suggested to me on here to try growing some fruit and veg, which I think would be good for you as you can also get your 2 year old involved like watering the plants, even when she is a bit more older to understand and can appreciate fruit and veg instead of junk food!

Don't buy too many of those "diet" foods---they are overpriced and full of carbs and replaced with other stuff for the fat. Stick to whole foods---lots of fresh veggies or steamed veggies ---lots of lean protein---roast a turkey, roast some chicken, cut up in and store away so you can grab quickly during the week. Nuts are good for healthy fat and healthy calories, maybe some yogurt and hummus to dip some cucumbers in and some natural peanut butter---skip the sweets--you will not miss them after a while.
