Veggie Spaghetti!

Hey all :)
I made a discovery yesterday--My college has a microwave! So i am now boiling a huge package of veggie noodles to pre-portion into some Tupperwares. I love veggie spaghetti, mine is "Pagal" brand green bean, carrot, and spinach.
Now, obviously, this "seems" healthy, it's veggies after all. But as I was cooking, I was wondering how veggies noodles stand up against regular white noodles and their deemed superior whole grain friends.
So, this is a veggie spaghetti thread :) Any favorite brands, for health or flavor reasons? Anyone know how the nutrients match up against whole grain versions?

  • Take a look at these noodles. I follow The Hungry Girl and love her findings. Only 20 calories per bag. I can find them at Publix (my local grocery here in SOFLA)

wheat spaghetti is the best for you. personally I tend to try to go against normal spaghetti. I go with linguine or fusilli. The best personally is either whole foods brand. They are cheap too. Mine I go for healthy as well. I would definitely suggest trying other noodles as well.
